Dear Member:

In this new pandemic stage, in which we are all being put to the test again, it is with a great sense of responsibility, but also with confidence, that we assume to guarantee the protection and smooth functioning of your Kitchener Portuguese Club.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the previous Board of Directors for their performance, namely Mr. Vitor Do Carmo and his Directors, as well as Mr. Rui Neves and the General Assembly, for facilitating this transition during a pandemic. We also take this opportunity to thank the members, who took the time to vote for this Board of Directors and for the confidence they have placed on us.

Our priority, along with the health and safety of our volunteers, is to guarantee the day-to-day functioning of the Club. Now it is time to look forward and believe that together we will be able to overcome this adversity. Our commitment remains: we are here, we have always been, and we will continue to be, so that our Club is part of our community for many years to come.

Nesta nova fase de pandemia, na qual todos voltamos a ser postos à prova, é com um grande sentido de responsabilidade, mas também com confiança, que assumimos garantir a proteção e o bom funcionamento do vosso Kitchener Portuguese Club.

Gostaríamos de aproveitar esta oportunidade para agradecer à Direção anterior, pelo seu desempenho efetuado, nomeadamente ao Sr. Vitor Do Carmo e aos seus diretores, bem como ao Sr. Rui Neves e à Mesa da Assembleia, por terem facilitado esta transição em tempos de pandemia. O nosso compromisso mantém-se: estamos aqui, sempre estivemos, e vamos continuar, para que o nosso Clube faça parte da nossa comunidade por muitos mais anos.
